Although their English is barely enough to say "this is a robbery" for the two boys this is just a minor problem.

Comment:
The combination of Paul Newman-Robert Redford is immediately any one of the most beautiful and successful of American cinema. Butch Cassidy is the baptism of fire (and their director), since the entire team will then be anointed with this undisputed masterpiece is "The Sting."

This film has shaped the history of American western movies because, given the period, has radically changed by introducing a grain comic (never infantilistica) that goes willingly with the topics addressed. It was then destroyed the stiffness characteristics dictated by the characters of John Wayne and were in turn create two additional templates. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are two very different icons - the first collegiate and rowdy, dark and moody the second - but they find their reason to exist in complement each other.

This box-office success owes part of its success to a well-balanced and brilliant writer, able to dictate the pace and moments of high wanted to stand by in sepia tones that give an aura to an epic dream-like light-hearted but that in certain situations also touches on moments of high drama. Elements that satisfy both the public and in extraordinary critical, as a rule almost always divided. Another key consideration is the impeccable photography by Conrad Hall (who deservedly won him an Oscar) makes the fund a visual feast for the eyes. From the arid lands of Colorado all'incontaminata Bolivian natural scenery as a background plays a major role for the duration of the film, giving picturesque paintings of landscapes that have as their only limit the sunset.

Newman and Redford are both temperamentally and physically perfect for the role of the two robbers, and so one wonders how the effect will be to see Travolta and Cruise play in the remake Butch and Sundance going to be realized.
George Roy Hill succeeds in its intention to review key carefree in the western world, which had been chained to a canonical too formal and strict, signing a masterpiece to be reviewed every time.

Memorable Scene: The sequence in which Newman riding a bicycle with the red background with Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head BJ Thomas , the final still image.
