If You Have A Lot Of Dandruff Do You Have Lice?

I'm still here:-D X

Sunday afternoon. Pajamas, puffy eyes, hair that now have taken their own life, a cute little face as that of a sloth in hibernation, gurgling stomach that the paralysis of the legs will not allow you to repair, powder beds cared for and raised with love in ' Last week that keep me company making me feel all their affection, notes and books that wait centuries before being taken into account in any way.
And with great pride I can see that in these two long years to break my change interior / exterior was truly radical: nothing facenza cazzeggiano and always at the top. Oh yeah.

Does Copper Kill Dandruff

My home, my home for you to be colorful ... Elegantly

in hit and run that characterized my holiday spirit this year, I have come across in a village that has sorely tested my faith in the aesthetic sensibilities of the natives.
Celera until his death the name, suffice it to say that this is a small village about 3 thousand souls nestled in the Apennines, place the domain of a beautiful valley. Lovely place, really. Too bad that a good portion of the local population, when choosing the color with which to decorate their home, was seized with a fit of madness.
Probably glossy, but still crazy. Something halfway between a hyperactive child who has been given a whole box di Faber Castell e un gruppo di fauvisti in preda a qualche acido.
Rossa! Non un discreto grenade, an anonymous clay or a soft coral, no red!
Now, to paraphrase an old saying I could argue that "the house is mine and me who I am!" Very good. But it would be nice also to think about those who, with eyes still calm of pristine green around, around the corner finds himself catapulted into the most hidden dreams of his Excellency the Count Vlad! In short, every good color therapy may certify that I am not making jokes!
dissolved all with a laugh and a disquisition on the obvious nostalgia for the policies of occupying the dwelling, a little less happily we continued our journey.
Things began to get complicated when you're standing out in front of Our tender and still incredulous eyes a second house. A bit bigger than before, but with a color equally embarrassing. Blue. Not a soft blue, a mild powder or a cane! No, bright blue. Stuff to embarrass the jumpsuit of Supertelegattone (miaooo!).
Noting that the tenants seemed temporarily absent, probably involved in the search for puffbacche, we continued, now ready for the worst. Obviously, it was not long in arriving.
Now, I do not want tirarvela for long. Suffice to say that we met in the order:
  • a two-storey building, and pretty raspberry.
  • a house with a nice porch acid yellow.
  • a small cottage and orange
  • dated and decidedly palace indigo (electric)
  • house floral and green apple, sour.
At the end of the excursion, having nutritious lunch and drink properly remarks, however, was unanimous. *****: You have any avant-garde of our estimate. Respect!

golf ... Maybe I come from Mars

Golf, sport contested by sources (if they contend for the partenio the Scots and the Dutch etymology uncertain ...), but undeniable elegance, is not it?
From bitter enemy of all activities involving the movement of my overleaf for more than 15 minutes, I have always found the idea of \u200b\u200bbeing delicious scarrozzata those adorable white cars, so at odds with the boundless greenery all around.
The idea of \u200b\u200ba sport that does not involve excessive drop of my sweat, the label states voted for the full and strict respect for the opponent (it seems we should be careful to not cast shadows and not covered by the opponent's field of view), the presence of a cute little man employed to carry the bag not to tire my limbs have contributed to the kind of golf (in my lazy little head, of course) the perfect sport.
We want to leave out the dress code? Discrete pole, fantasies polite, soft colors, adorable hats ... In short, in a nutshell: Elegance. But something
intervened to spoil the idyllic picture firmly anchored in my fantasies. Not being selfish by nature, I thought I would share with the rest of the world the reasons for my disappointment (and I have to remain just me bad?).
Ladies and gentlemen, here's how the bad taste to shreds the last bastion of sophistication ...

not enough? Okay ...

And now, I believe? Très Chic, not it?

Subspecies - The vampires

Year: 1991
Genre: Horror
Country: USA
Original Title: Subspecies
Director: Ted Nicolaou
Cast: Angus Scrimm , Anders Hove, Irina Movila, Laura Tate, Michelle McBride, Michael Watson
Availability: VHS

Plot:
Three university students, Mara, Michelle, and Lillian, come to Prejnar, a small town in Romania, to work on their thesis on the culture of Transylvania and superstitions. Near their residence is located the castle of King Vladislas. Ancient legends line the walls of the royal palace, legends of vampires and a mystical relic known as the "Blood Stone", able to lull the desire for blood of the undead, returning to a supplementary humanity. After being banished by his father Prince Radu returns to the castle, claiming his rights on the bloodstone and bringing terror to the small town. Stefan will be to face it, who rushed to the aid of three girls and a brother less than the prince, born from the union of Vladislas and a mortal woman.

Comment:
The vampire genre is certainly one of the most prolific in the horror genre, though quite diverse in its exposures occurred in decades. From the gothic atmosphere and attention to the smallest details of the Hammer productions, the serialization of recent years that have made the commercial success of brands like True Blood and Buffy The Vampire Slayer, vampires had to submit, from time to time, to a partial and sometimes Full modification of its habitat that has passed from the old Transylvanian castles of the early, up to ridicolissimi to American colleges, or the luxurious villas of the bloodsuckers and decent gays in the saga by Stephenie Meyer, so that jolts the heart of bimbominkia of today, which certainly lacks the good (or bad) taste in film, bolstered by money a product really disgusting.

Subspecies - Vampires is a direct child of the 90s, and what you can tell by the look not only taken by the actors from the hair tufts, or primordial stop motion special effects used in some circumstances for the creation of small demons born from the hand Radu, but it reflects from the absolute authenticity of a product unpretentious, born with only an excuse to entertain. A film to drive in, or Saturday evening, to enjoy in peace with the lights out and without the fear of being disappointed, because we start with minimum demands. What was lost to this day among the millions of dollars wasted by the box office blockbuster in full but empty by consensus, sometimes forced in directions favorable media coverage in the press for fear of causing a financial crash in the great and perfect machine that is the entertainment world. Subspecies is the antithesis of the elaborate and involved sborone, beautiful in its honesty and unabashedly glamorous despite the inexorable passage of time. The Full Moon Entertainment

veteran Charles Band, formerly the parent of prosperous series of Puppet Master, focuses his attention on the universe, creating a vampire saga that begins with this very Vampires. The reins of the wagon is Ted Nicolaou, the assets already in the field of terror from previous The DungeonMaster and Terrorvision. Although when they have a tight budget are able to land with the whole crew in Bucharest where they will be carried out within two months, filming of this little cult.
The realization is certainly more than good, and in some cases points to the far Murnau's Nosferatu, thanks to the light and shadow play in which the vampires appear and dissolve. Radu is a good character, is the embodiment of evil, but defiant flickering to the appearance of the sun, with an eternal drool blood on their lips.
The setting gives no small Transylvanian air quality to his work focusing on mythology and folklore of this mysterious land. Much space is given is for the outdoors, where they will not be taken up only to forests and castles but also some traditional festivals and religious ceremonies of their country of Count Vlad.

Despite being a film rather simple construction of the background is quite comprehensive and detailed, based on historical roots, and unarmed villagers mythological alliances with the people of the Turkish invasion of vampires. The vampires were in fact defeated the Ottoman threat in exchange for people from the agonist Bloodstone, the stone that the blood of the holy pin.
And on the basis of this incipit that will be constructed later followed (three in total) which, in some cases, they can not get the same results honest work before.
Highly recommended for an hour and a half back in time.

Subspecies in Italy does not have enjoyed a reversal in the DVD, but you can order from the states a box set containing all 4 episodes.

Via Dura aka The Way Of The Drug

Year: 1989
Genre: Action
Country: Italy
Original title: The Way Dura
Director: Michele Massimo Tarantini
Cast: Miles O 'Keeffe, Milton Rodriguez, Chuck Bishop, Philip Wagner, Sarah Sharman Henry Silva
Availability: VHS

Plot:
U.S. intelligence in Bolivia sends three of his best agents to destroy drug trafficking Captain Wesson. Arrived on site will find that their contact is dead, and the meeting place has turned into a ruthless ambush. So start a manhunt by army personnel of the drug lord in respect of the special team.

Comment:
ruthless guerrilla movie not to be confused with "La Via Della Droga" by Enzo G. Castellari.

È assimilabile al classico eroe anni ottanta da poche battute che preferisce their way to the sound of bullets rather than words. In fact the film for its entire duration, is nothing more than a single and continuous shooting nearly free of dialogue. There is a moment of pause and it would be quite fun to count all the dead killed that progressively wiped dall'imperturbabile trio of action. Sure you get to triple digit abundant. To get an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat it has to offer "The Hard Way" just imagine the last quarter of an hour with Commando Schwarzennegger lasted for an hour and a half. How would a person of my acquaintance: "TOOOOOOSTO."

The scenes are well directed, supported by innumerable explosions that ignore the laws of physics and a decent job of stuntman (very beautiful sequence in which the Bull broke into the church with the bike). But such a product, moreover, must be taken with the appropriate measures by going to frame how a small action film that does not take itself very seriously. It is precisely for this reason that can make the joy of lovers of the action more vulgar and ignorant, but at the same time, the viewer bored to death looking for the most pretentious at all costs a consistent narrative. The Hard Way

remained confined only to the distribution on VHS, now hard to find but not impossible to find a rarity.

Memorable Scene: Henry Silva: "Let me tell you something: I love to kill people. Gratifies me. "

Consigliori

Year: 1973
Genre: Gangster / Noir
Country: Italy / Spain
Original Title: The Consigliori
Director: Alberto De Martino
Cast: Tomas Milian , Martin Balsam, Francisco Rabal, Dagmar Lassander
Availability: DVD

Trama:

The etymology of the word "Consigliori" to be found in the vast vocabulary of Sicily, which tends to be appropriated in this title, revived by Coppola masterpiece, "the man trusted by the head of the family of a criminal syndicate." Alberto De Martino, during his wanderings after the horror noir-spy-spaghetti western, largely influenced by the commercial success of the movie based on Mario Puzo's novel creates a plot that follows almost word for word in his footsteps, albeit leaving behind the verve original drama and focused his work on the dictates of style and definitely resulting from poliziottesco made in Italy in those years sulla cresta dell’onda.

Ed è proprio a causa di questo forte link to the decision to leave everything to the boss Consigliori not bat an eyelid and let him go with his blessing. This goodwill will be used to Garofalo, a member of the family as a scapegoat for the start of a bloody attack on the division and the consequent power.

The first part of the movie is filmed in San Francisco. A treat photography is Massaccesi Aristide (aka Joe D'Amato), who followed along with a very small team De Martino overseas to shoot the exteriors. Not miss the chase between the many uphill-downhill, certainly a characteristic element of the U.S. city. The action will then move to Italy, more precisely in Palermo and Sicily in the town of Polizzi Generosa, where the householder and his indomitable will find protection and help from old friends. The setting
rocky and desolate village of means with determination a reality actually exists, as was the scene of one of the first massacres of the mafia.
With this scene change the rhythm is affected, the times became less frantic, leaving room for a plot that basically melancholy will be created between the host and the people on the ground, preserving all the action to a dramatic epilogue. Final which will have as background a procession of folk Catholic-Orthodox, where a crowd of believers, dressed in black carrying on their shoulders Lady in the streets, which will also be the setting for the final clash between the two factions.

Tomas Milian and Martin Balsam are quite convincing, and their pairing has a certain feeling derivative of their bond. Surely they are the strength of a film that, on balance, does not provide anything new to the genre and that, even in his modesty is quite enjoyable, is to be recommended only to fans of the genre.

The film is available on DVD from Legocart, dispassionately but I do not recommend you buy this because the master is there really something indecent. Better to wait a television or a subsequent step remastering.

Memorable Scene: boss on the run find refuge in a brothel where a prostitute is offered. The boss waiver to the unusual invitation is up with this phrase "know what they say in my part? The fuck does not want these things".

Darkness

Year: 2002
Genre: Horror
Country: USA / Spain
Original Title: The Dark
Director: Jaume Balaguer
Cast: Anna Paquin, Lena Olin, Iain Glen, Giancarlo Giannini, Fele Martinez
Availability: DVD

Plot:
A family moves into a strange isolated house, but something seems wrong, come to life as soon as it gets dark. The two children begin to feel the presence of disturbing elements, while the father gives progressive signs of imbalance. The house hides a terrible past: it was the scene of a massacre of children. Now, after exactly forty years, coinciding with an eclipse of the sun, the evil is to complete what was left off.

Comment:
A few years after its debut, Balaguer puts his name in the cursed genre of the houses.

Having achieved the status of young hopefuls from the Catalan with Nameless gives a more psychological horror to devote himself. Supported in the field distribution by Bryan Yuzna and his Fantastic Four, Darkness can enjoy an economic effort that is reflected in the choice of a cast and an important effector care, aimed at sewing the best weaving esoteric plot.

very personal style of English, which favors the building of tension through the gradual growth and structural relationships emotions between the characters and the narrative context, rather than resorting to mere effettaccio aesthetic end in itself. In this perspective it is perfectly placed the house in which to live are the protagonists of the film, isolated from the rest of the world and mother of dirty leaden atmosphere, able to terrorize the host as soon as the sun was to fall and darkness dominates.
In fact it is the house the real protagonist, the central pivot around which the stories of the characters almost fallen to mere functional objects to the mire of evil. The story is of the damned will stay hidden until the final, while for the duration of the film will make tentative appearances by the use of flashback or narrative elements (the discovery of the secret room, the picture of the "sisters") that will blow the demonic influences, bringing insanity to the father-husband.

Despite considerable aesthetic in the film industry continues a sense of boredom, destroyed only for sporadic moments in the important moments that succeed in every way to maintain a minimum level of curiosity, only to regain the trust of the viewer into an incredible ending. Is still appealing the occult and ritualistic nature of the script, the solar eclipse that takes the earth to be turned into darkness with the eternal sacrifice of seven children.

Palesi influences rushed to the realization of a film, guilty and aware to return - albeit with a personality - in a vein quite prolific in the recent past, cleverly builds and pays homage to the classic performers such as the type Amytiville Horror (again, the days are scanned one by one) and Shining (Iain Glen's character has a lot of Jack Torrance Nicholson). Shining it also picks up the child relationship - ghost, almost similar to that seen in Kubrick's film Darkness little Paul is haunted by dark presences that haunt the house, depicting children of his age.

As mentioned earlier the better collection of players takes place efficiently with the homework, carving out some points in absolute personality. I am referring to the character of Giancarlo Giannini, real element of surprise in the development of the storyline, sinister and gloomy enough air to be with his Italian doc. A real change artist. Lena Olin and Anna Paquin (True Blood of the bitch) would work best in their roles as mother and daughter bound by a difficult relationship, emphasized throughout, and which finds its maximum exposure in the transcendent final. To support Fele Martinez, who is also plays a role quite similar to that seen in Tesis . In fact, Regina will help you to discover the mysteries hidden behind the mysterious house.

Summing Darkness is not the best Balaguer's work, but it is definitely a movie atmosphere that should be seen in its fullness because, although in its slowness, the entire course is nothing but the brain and the construction of a manic tour de force in its final 20 minutes will accommodate the audience came from there a bit 'bored.

Cronos

Year: 1993
Genre: Horror
Country: Mexico
Original Title: Cronos
Director: Guillermo Del Toro
Cast: Federico Luppi, Ron Perlman, Claudio Brook, Margarita Isabel, Tamara Shanath
Availability: VHS

Plot: A
antiquarian finds a box inside a device that can give eternal life, on one condition: to become a vampire

Comment:
Cronos is a dark tale, a dream where the dismal surreal finds its essence in the macabre and vulgar, but almost never in fetish friendly and gentle. History has esoteric roots, moved to the present, creating a mystique that will lead to weave two lives to the extreme. The wealthy industrialist and antiques dealer Jesus De La Porta have, for various reasons, desire to own an old instrument in which a trapped insect is capable of giving eternal life. But the search for what is presumed to be the happiness is not always satisfied, immortality has its price.

in his first big-screen director Guillermo del Toro accurately highlighting its distinctive features that characterize then his entire filmography. A fairytale start (then resumed in a much more pompous in Pan's Labyrinth), the fetish for insects, vision and sheer cunning of children and finally the use of one of its players-Ron Perlman as a symbol. Film from the immense potential, perhaps a little 'faded from the warm hand of an inexperienced but Del Toro already pretentious, however, able to film a surprising punch in the stomach that will not trouble you any harm.

Cronos, despite the limited budget (2 million dollars), is one of the most expensive Mexican film ever. Its pre-production was dissestante and difficult, no one was able to finance the film so much that the director had to borrow half a million dollars to bring complete the project. The actors, however, turned it all without expecting pay, why Del Toro and Perlman became inseparable friends since then.

difficult to recover, a little gem hidden in the obscure depths of cinema.

Genere: Drammatico
Paese: USA
Titolo Originale: Beyond The Law
Regia: Larry Ferguson
Cast: Charlie Sheen, Linda Fiorentino, Michael Madsen, Courtney B. Vance, Rip Torn
Disponibilità: DVD

Trama:
Saxon is easy to become one of them has successfully established itself within the group for his quarrelsome and unbiased attitude. Then when the time comes to settle accounts Saxon will be harder and brutal opponents.

Comment:
Often the names of the most famous motorcycle club are linked with the illicit trafficking of weapons and drugs on the wastelands of the American desert, probably to the fact that given their number and their mobility, the hordes of motorcyclists become the perfect means to transport illegal goods from one state to another. And
just one event of the news that Larry Ferguson was inspired to create the infiltration of small invoice biker movie, which tells the true story of Dan Saxon (born Dan Black), narcotics agent introduced in one of the most dangerous gangs Texas: the Jackals.

After starting a bit 'slow, had a duty to the presentation of the controversial character played by Charlie Sheen, the film takes off by the delight of fans of bikers in leather and studs and recording some typical moments of these fascinating club.

Police Defeat

Year:
1977 Genre: cop
Country: Italy
Original Title: Police Defeat
Director: Domenico Paolella
Cast: Marcel Bozzuffi, Vittorio Mezzogiorno, Riccardo Salvino, In Pazzafini, Claudia Giannotti
Disponibilità: DVD

Trama:

Dopo diversi anni senza work was hired by CAP for what in some ways looks like a remake of the apocryphal "Those of the Caliber 38". Although these products were used mainly to ride the commercial success of the loaf, Paolella, author and very little film on command, to customize their own way in the event this project providing ideologically and formally at least a basic social criticism that is well association with the unflinching script Bags made from.

Paolella focuses on the social unrest of the period, and nurtured by the people sull'amarezza increasingly suspicious and discouraged against the police. The Bologna filmed in "The Police and lost "is a neurotic city and conspiracy, where the quiet life is easily broken by thieves and thugs looking for easy money. These are the years of Marseille, the first big drug racket and the processing of innocuous and simplistic thief from a killer armed and dangerous. This new symbol of the underworld is masterfully embodied by the figure of Valli, unscrupulous extortionist who sow panic and terror among the people.

established the climate of fear to the police there is little time to find the villain and his gang. For the occasion is established a task force engine, the "special brigade", led by the energy commissioner Griffins, played in excellent way by Marcel Bozzuffi (The Violent Arm of the Law). Valli is instead played by a very young and the late Vittorio Mezzogiorno, in his convincing impersonation of a person lonely, dark and ruthless.

Many elements are quite atypical for the genre to discover while watching, from the many explosions that the mad bomber Valli is delighted to bestow on those who do not pay protection money, the virtuosity on motorcycles (including trips on Montagnola scales and a chase on the porch of St. Luke), reaching almost gore elements that follow the vein of a violent and cynical poliziottesco to be discovered.

The final hard does is mark exasperation with the aplomb of a compact and dry film surely be counted among the classics of the genre, which perhaps never had the visibility it deserves. Perhaps precisely because of its strong themes that draw on the facts of crime for the period was not well received by film critics who, on many occasions, did not scruple to destroy.

"Police and lost 'is available on DVD published by the Cecchi Gori, which also interesting to interivsta Dardano Sacchetti, here co-writer with the director.

What Does The New Arabic Stamp Say

Butch Cassidy

Anno: 1969
Genere: Western
Paese: USA
Titolo Originale: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Regia: George Roy Hill
Cast: Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Katharine Ross, Strother Martin, Henry Jones
Disponibilità: DVD

Trama:
Although their English is barely enough to say "this is a robbery" for the two boys this is just a minor problem.

Comment:
The combination of Paul Newman-Robert Redford is immediately any one of the most beautiful and successful of American cinema. Butch Cassidy is the baptism of fire (and their director), since the entire team will then be anointed with this undisputed masterpiece is "The Sting."

This film has shaped the history of American western movies because, given the period, has radically changed by introducing a grain comic (never infantilistica) that goes willingly with the topics addressed. It was then destroyed the stiffness characteristics dictated by the characters of John Wayne and were in turn create two additional templates. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are two very different icons - the first collegiate and rowdy, dark and moody the second - but they find their reason to exist in complement each other.

This box-office success owes part of its success to a well-balanced and brilliant writer, able to dictate the pace and moments of high wanted to stand by in sepia tones that give an aura to an epic dream-like light-hearted but that in certain situations also touches on moments of high drama. Elements that satisfy both the public and in extraordinary critical, as a rule almost always divided. Another key consideration is the impeccable photography by Conrad Hall (who deservedly won him an Oscar) makes the fund a visual feast for the eyes. From the arid lands of Colorado all'incontaminata Bolivian natural scenery as a background plays a major role for the duration of the film, giving picturesque paintings of landscapes that have as their only limit the sunset.

Newman and Redford are both temperamentally and physically perfect for the role of the two robbers, and so one wonders how the effect will be to see Travolta and Cruise play in the remake Butch and Sundance going to be realized.
George Roy Hill succeeds in its intention to review key carefree in the western world, which had been chained to a canonical too formal and strict, signing a masterpiece to be reviewed every time.

Memorable Scene: The sequence in which Newman riding a bicycle with the red background with Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head BJ Thomas , the final still image.

Unbeknownst to John, a rebel official name of Dalton has his own plan for a new life in the past. The time travelers soon discover that their return from the past set in motion an incredible spiral of terror and death, totally unpredictable.

Comment:
Retrograde is an unusual production Luxembourg / Italian / English and starring the immortal Dolph Lundgren and statuary ever, behind Gary Daniels, another veteran of action movies 80 years.

The lowness of the funds allocated from the production falls like a sword of Damocles on a charge of film to travel on rails sci-fi and consequently on cutting-edge environments and systems at least. The advanced solutions for the catalog were a found footage smart and functional and an abominable use of graphics certainly not abreast of the times that make ridiculous this feature by placing even below at any particular episode of a serial some American medium-low invoice.

Terrifcanti, then, the interior of the ship of our fearless time travelers, appears to be a modern version and a little more detailed than that worn by in Ed Wood Plan 9 From Outer Space , with its colored lights, the walls of cardboard and preposterous purple door.
action there is very little, and the few moments of adrenaline resulting from very short and too resolute shootings that, in most cases, are used to give movement and implications of a standard plot pedantically.

Dolph Lundgren, then 50 years old, still shows off a physique and a perfect and enviable hairstyle that would dwarf even the Nino D'Angelo in its heyday. The Swedish actor, despite his 160 IQ and his bachelor's degree with highest of the votes in chemical engineering, not denial here in direct-to-video series that the z devote irrevocably to the Olympus of the die-hard action hero.

Comment:
The late Bruno Mattei, who died in 2007, will forever be recognized as a master of low budget and found footage. With small sums of money could take out small film productions that winked at America's most emblazoned. In his filmography, ranging between various genres, from action erotic, but always putting a focus on sull'horror, his eternal passion.

Tomb can be easily identified as a sympathetic mockmuster the film The Mummy with Brandon Fraser as bearing a plot and an almost identical development.
shot entirely in digital, improvised with actors or fiction (except Madison) and actresses who appear to have been rejected by the casting of porn movies, this film is to operate with the trash, not so much arrogance in the Olympus for its carat weight technique ( the shot digitally would seem, even the best amateur Ford) or for special effects narrow (which still operate discreetly), but for a mix of factors such as the dialogues deficient supported by a hard film dubbing, the obvious homages / not obvious that the director sips during the development and, above all, the absolute seriousness with which this film was shot.

Mattei will always remain unforgettable in the eyes of fans of Italian genre cinema, and this outburst is the Tomb of his stubbornness that leads him to the venerable age of 70 to get still under discussion.

Pubblicato in DVD da La Perla Nera con master decisamente buono e audio 5.1 but, unfortunately, zero extra if not the trailer.

Memorable Scene: too much, but when I saw Anna Marcello do Salma Hayek died.

Soldiers - 365 Till Dawn

Year: 1987
Genre: Drama
Country: Italy
Original Title: Soldiers - 365 Till Dawn
Director: Marco Risi
Cast: Claudio Amendola, Massimo Dapporto, Agostina Belli, Alessandro Benvenuti, Ugo Conti, Sandro Ghiani, Antonella Ponzio, Peter Ghislain, Manila Dovì
Availability: DVD

Plot: During
military service a recruit has been targeted by his lieutenant (the guy who believes, wrongly, because of his lack of promotion). But the soldier does not bend. (Deastore.com)

Comment:
Before the youth language Italian cinema was crapped by various Moccia Muccino and was a director in the eighties which, for better e nel male, nei suoi film cercava di riproporre determinati spaccati di vita.

Protagonista del film è un giovane romano interpretato da Claudio Amendola, surely its functional role, despite her will in the eye of the storm. Scanna Claudio (this is the character's name) will in fact deal with the merciless hazing of some congedanti led by an unlikely (but in a way, guessed) Alessandro Benvenuti and with the evil and injustice riservategli free from his lieutenant iron. With Lieutenant Wires (maximum Dapporto in great dusting) will be established as a rival because of honor and testosterone, a competition to see who breaks first based on a dualism rather learn where the soldier will soon confront.
This conflict is being carried out throughout the film in a excellent managing not boring and, sometimes, to reassess the role of villain in legitimate executioner justifiable.
comparison that leads to an end rather harsh, but convincing in his closing with the advent of dawn.

Despite the hardness of the issues there are moments of comedy features a cast of excellent character and very good. How can we forget Ugo Conti in the role of Sergeant Gallo (Forza! Force Come on!), Peter Ghislain in his interpretation of Madonna, Ernesto Lama in the role of the truest of all jokes and smiles and Neapolitan Angelo Cabiddu, improvisational actor, noted the same Risi lavorara while as a waiter in a restaurant in Rome and cast without any specimen.

The choice of grafts comic strength as it is assumed the producers were not confident in making a serious film about naja, counting, too, that in those years were often the news about suicides in their barracks because of hazing. Expedient for the controversy, then. The courage to
Risi was awarded as the film had some success and also inspired a television series that many will surely remember: Class of Iron.
A bittersweet film of a certain thickness, a portrait of a reality ignored by the younger generation today that despite the years and its old-fashioned theme still manages to captivate.

Del film as well as the movie version normally distributed on DVD There is also a television longer than that. The long version contains almost an hour more of footage, and was passed not long ago on the digital channels of Mediaset. Small
cult.

Memorable Scene: an initial Dapporto speeches to his platoon: "Because with me you will not only cleaned, sorted, graded, efficient. No sir!" This is not enough. You set yourself apart. You will be absolutely , wonderfully, amazingly, SOLID is pissed. "

Shadow Star Trek The Godfather

Anno: 2009
Genere: Horror
Paese: Italia
Titolo Originale: Shadow
Regia: Federico Zampaglione
Cast: Jake Muxworthy, Karina Testa, Nuot Arquint, Ottaviano Blitch, Chris Coppola
Disponibilità: al cinema

Trama:
(comingsoon.it)

Commento:
Magazines, film buffs and cinemini have trust and hope in a revival of the industry with this film Zombiglione (a term coined by the comparison made between the leaders of Tiromancino and Rob Zombie) who did so much to talk about when abroad.

Because of a troubled post-production the film was, in fact, initially distributed in a foreign land, enjoying some success, and after having made a name made landfall in Italian soil, though choked in the theatrical release of Robin Hood, Iron Man and Prince of Persia 2, the blockbuster U.S. dollars from millions of tourists and certainly wide appeal.

Those who expect a film bloody slaughters and will always remain very disappointed that Shadow is a pretty smart film in its own way, which is not to seek effettaccio from torture-porn splatter but using it as a vehicle channeler, bringer of anguish and anxiety. The tension is certainly not to the stars, and few are the moments of real terror will reign supreme, but the curiosity generated primarily by living and Swimming Arquint that effect, compelling and true star of the film with his mimicry of the whole body and his Choir physical expression that led him to approach the collective representation of death that you, ready to grab his scythe with the unfortunate duty.

The film begins in the best possible way, about the indisputable panorama of Tarvisio, a mountain resort on the border with Austria and Slovenia, who with his thick gray mist tinged with this film. And it is the gray color most representative of a film is not trapped in some of the stylistic 'horror, but that is interposed between the thriller setting (the hunting of prey between the two hunters and tourists refers to no frills That Quiet Weekend Fear) el'horror atmosphere. In fact after the initial block from pursuing marked among the winding paths of the location and charm, is followed by a central part made entirely in an enclosed space, base of operations Swimming Arquint which is not exactly a villain, the killer or the monster of the moment, but rather an entity that has its own logic. The reason of his presence is the unknown that pervades the entire duration of the movie that will do the strangest conjectures. Unknown which is then resolved in a final, in my opinion, rather hasty. Considered by many as a touch of class but that I know have already seen (Jacob's Ladder).

The film loses depth and pathos in its final resolution, which relegated all (I do not want spoilers that much) to a trivial, and at least misplaced criticism of the war and its ambassadors. But Carina a specific sequence filmed in the house Swimming Arquint: Zampaglione ago through a series detect the darkness of the wall paintings of characters like Hitler, Stalin and Bush.
honestly do not understand why the directors of modern horror nell'après final coup are always looking for the most bizarre and incomprehensible, changing the entire log and trying to effect the shot that works once in a thousand, and that often jeopardize the entire product.

Apart from this narrative lightness Zampaglione Fred does a great job: although a bit 'naive Shadow seems almost an international production, filmed in a very good and with a mounting an excel and a photo sublime. The
, though, small cast is still level and beyond the already plurimenzionato Swimming Arquint I would note is the fine performance of Ottaviano Blitch, speaker of Virgin Radio, perfect in the role of the hunter hicks sputazza that when he speaks.

The soundtrack refers in many respects to that of classical settantiani of our production of the thrill of the mold, therefore, markedly Goblin. And in addition to these atmospheric original songs out of order are some musical moments with "Come on, there is a road in the woods ..." by Bixio, made up some old scratchy gramophone and used in an exceptional way in some particular scene. Evocative.

In closing the accounts of the board and fans do not go to see Shadow with the acceptance of the clause "you may be disappointed because this film certainly Zampaglione is absolutely not for everyone and can undoubtedly disappoint but the same way, with surprising honesty.

Memorable Scene: Swimming Arquint licking the frog in a psychedelic sequence, the combination of the Swiss actor and death.

Original title: Star Trek
Director: JJ Abrams
Cast: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Eric Bana, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Leonard Nimoy, Simon Pegg, Bruce Greenwood, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Ben Cross
Availability: DVD / Bluray

Plot:
Star Trek film is an explosion of euphoria and an irresistible invitation to fun. The impudent and rebellious James Kirk (Chris Pine) and the equally outspoken half Vulcan, half human Spock (Zachary Quinto) are among the younger crew members of a fledgling Starfleet, about to embark on the most advanced starship ever created: the USS Enterprise. During their incredible journey of galactic exploration and discovery, will find the villain Nero (Eric Bana), whose mission of vengeance threatens all humanity.

Comment:
Yet another Hollywood reboot a conspicuously short of ideas that this time it touches one of the mythical landscape of the entire sci-fi: Star Trek. Star Trek is not just a TV series, novels or films, but a true religion for lovers of science fiction. This saga, perhaps even more than Star Wars, is literally the bible of infinite space, narrative paradise universally recognized by an amazing fandom.

Star Trek stands for orgasm of galaxies and interstellar travel and free-range lives of many and varied alien races and all incredibly well characterized. Each ethnic group has its own culture, their customs and places. Over time and with the advance of the episodes (about 705, adding up the various series) has gone well to form a veritable encyclopedia extraterrestrial in all its rich historical pieces.

This blockbuster directed by King Midas of recent times (or JJ Abrams) aims to rejuvenate a franchise, perhaps a bit 'too austere set because of her, now, old age. The formula for achieving this goal has been to start this new series as a prequel to the original series (as has already happened with Star Wars), putting at the forefront of the small screen stars and starlets who, alas, is so much audience per day today. It has now almost lost the culture of a movie serial, preferring to put up with yet another American.

You will then see a scene relating to the infancy of the rebel Kirk, which steals a Corvette Stingray and rambles with the Iowa Sabotage by the Beastie Boys as background music, and that of Spock and his years in 'academy in the past to fight with his dual nature of human-Vulcan. The two will meet then, almost casually, the Kobayashi Maru test where Kirk, a cheat, structured crumble all the traps from Vulcan surprisingly passing the exam.

Elements, then, going to totally distort a very complex character, worthy of extensive psychological reflections, indeed very commonplace here.

But Spock is not only to be regressed, but in some ways even the whole spirit of Star Trek through the forcing of some elements, such as good-bad contrast child who has never played a role found in the series, breaking the typical static replaced by so much hyper-kinetic and the introduction of a distinctly comic vein which would mobilize the masses of non-specialists, as that Star Trek has not properly targeted to the medium of film, going so but in an almost blasphemous to upset the hard core consisting of the aficionados.

Forget even the dear old Enterprise, totally different from the original, here resembling so flush with the plagiarism of Commander Shepard of the Normandy Mass Effect.
The director is not exactly smiling (Abrams split the long balls with his insistence to the hand-held camera, a technique used on this occasion in a truly disproportionate) but compensate with special effects and a script to scream that sketched a brisk pace aimed at the growing thanks to a classic concatenanti series of events. I myself, disappointed and saddened by the criticism above, towards the end I found a little 'involved in what, however, is the most classic of science fiction towels. In fact the enemy is to fight an alien race that gets rid of the planets through the use of so-called red matter, with which they can generate some real holes blacks (those who know the saga will surely understand that I am speaking of the Romulans).

As for the cast anything to say about the skill of the actors but do not have quite the charisma to hold a candle to the glories of the past. This is evident in one of the final sequences where there is a face face between the new (Zachary Quinto) and old (Leonard Nimoy) Spock. Despite years of gap between the two players the difference is abysmal. Overtime, however, Karl Urban (The Chronicles of Riddick) as a credibilissimo McCoy and just passable the almost cameo by Simon Pegg (Dawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), an actor who deserves more roles well and quite another matter. Other appearances to signal that spread like Winona Ryder in the role of Spock's mother and Jennifer Morrison (Dr. Cameron House) who plays one of Kirk.

In conclusion this free personal vision of the universe trekkie Abrams (need arises almost made him die of Star Wars, of which J.J.

Spettacolare.

Plot:
New York . An important mob boss is assassinated. His wife, Lady Constance, will leave for Sicily in search of revenge and its principals.

Comment:
Filmaccio Italian production that seeks to build on the success of the very classic Coppola (mentioned several times in the film through the film posters displayed around the city) offering a mafia movie starring a character women. Despite the great cast of characters stuffed like the film captivates.

illusion with a promising start but tired and tedious, due to a central block rather anonymous and arrogant, then rebounded in the last fractions, characterized by rapid string of killings, declaring the fulfillment of the revenge of the widow and will put an end to a disappointing work.

Although the subject is attractive, the film does not capture probably because of Lydia Alfonsi, inappropriate and certainly not up to the party. Nothing particularly significant to report except some sequences of strong impact that winks at a masterpiece with Marlon Brando (a severed hand in a cake, the equivalent of the horse's head in bed), the job of Maurice Poli and some solutions that poveristiche could well be compared to those adopted in some (s) Turkish cult (the final attack with the rocket launcher is very reminiscent the Serdar of Korkusuz).

forgotten and, indeed, forgotten.

Memorable Scene: The final attack with rocket launchers, and some dialogs in a very narrow Sicilian dialect.

Ticker - Explosion Finale

Year: 2001
Genre: Action
Country: USA
Original Title: Ticker
Director: Albert Pyun
Cast: Tom Sizemore , Steven Seagal, Dennis Hopper, Jaime Pressly, Peter Greene
Availability: DVD

Plot:
In San Francisco hunts down a fanatical terrorist (D. Hopper), ace explosives. Two of the hunters - an explosives expert (S. Seagal) and a cop (T. Sizemore), eager to surrender - they discover that there is a client, a widow (J. Pressly) Ecology and vindictive. (Source: corrieredellasera.it)

Comment:
Ticker is a small little film of Action signed by Albert Pyun, a master of science fiction b-movies and kickboxerxploitation, starring actors like Tom Sizemore navigators, Dennis Hopper and Steven Seagal. Pyun certainly takes its typical elements and features of his repertoire, with its unmistakable hand of the track segments that border on melodramatic visibly out of context quite the farce. Sequences that, as already demonstrated in some of his earlier work as a Cyborg, be carried out strictly in slow and, with flashbacks, they form the background of the main characters.

Thus, in this way, the disruptive Sizemore turns out then, according to the color of his colleague who died in the first ten minutes, "plagued by his demons", and Only the encounter with the blaster / mystic / wise Seagal (in record time that has taken over the 20 kg lost Wounds ) put an end to his inner conflict. Epica the final sequence where the two, intent on detonating two bombs simultaneously in several separate locations, instead of worrying about which wire to cut talking on the transience of life and the fragility of human suffering (from fear eh?). Dennis Hopper, practically reduced to a marginal role, embodies the schizoid villain who turns out to then turn at the mercy of the beautiful and deadly Jaime Pressly (DOA , My Name Is Earl).

Hopper shot her scenes in a single day and has never met the other stars of the film. Easily understand the situation in some sequences assembled ad hoc, visibly cobbled together show that in some ways a technical approaches adopted in the past with films such as Double Impact Van Damme.

Despite some questionable choices, such as those mentioned above, the film has a good pace and although it is definitely a product of poor quality of the Action that does not annoy the fans would definitely appreciate the various explosions Pyun gives us during the course history.

Small note on Steven Seagal, and mummified imbolsito, which plays a role on the desk, but in the last quarter of an hour Final sbaraglierà hordes of terrorists with his deadly aikido in some scenes and turn mounted as best as possible, given that the superstar is no longer booming "er na de Vorta cheetah."

Ticker, finally, is a product to spend an hour and a half empty, an action that typically nineties dall'appasionato leave quietly look like that.
